LEESON Electric Company was founded in the year 1972, and operates as a subsidiary of Regal-Beloit Corp. LEESON Electric Corporation designs and manufactures power transmission equipments for industrial use and commercial applications. The company’s major product line includes electric motors, gear motors and drives. LEESON’s rapid replenishment program offers its clients with the right stock of electrical motors on the shelf as per the customer’s needs. The company offers the conveniences of same day shipment facility on many gear reducer products as well as short delivery time on custom made gear reducers. In 1993, LEESON achieved certification to ISO 9001 international quality standards, the most comprehensive of the ISO 9000 family of standards.

From sub-fractional to 350 HP motors, gear motors, AC and DC adjustable speed drives and Gear Motors, LEESON offers more than 4,000 stock products. LEESON designs multiple power transmission components to work together for optimum performance. LEESON manufactures a wide range of AC electric motors including up-fractional frame sizes and extends to hundreds of horsepower. In addition, we produce DC permanent magnet motors through 3 HP and sub-fractional geared and non-geared motors from 1/150th HP through 1/4 HP in AC and DC designs, as well as other specialty motors including brushless DC and precision servo motors.
